What Came First, The Chicken Or The Egg? The Chicken Per Genesis!

I was browsing around on HubPages the other day and came upon this infamous question, what came first, the chicken or the egg. Someone asked it in the questions section of the website. It's amazing that this old question still has so many people baffled. It's especially amazing that many so called scientist and intellectuals continue to scratch their heads and ponder the question. The question is easy to answer. It's so simple, that is if you're not an evolutionist. If you're a Christian you should not be baffled at such an easy question. The answer can be found in Genesis 1:21, 22 of the Holy Bible.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Genesis 2:21, 22 King James Version

God made His creation in a mature state already bearing seed and ready to reproduce. For example He created Adam and Eve as adults. Then He told them to be fruitful and multiply. The same applies to the animals He created including the chicken.

Chickens were created in a mature state. They mated, the hen laid eggs and they multiplied just as God commanded. They reproduced after their own kind. It’s no great mystery. The answer is right there in the Book.

Evolutionist don't like the answer, but it doesn't matter. The truth is the truth. It's ironic that the same day I saw this question, a British scientist promoted his book wherein he exclaimed, "God did not create the universe". Perhaps that news is what prompted the chicken and egg question in the answer section.

Predictably, atheists and evolutionist were like busy little beavers that day, posting all over the forums, repeating the claims and intellectual babble of this pitiful, old man, bound to a wheel chair who can't even speak without the aid of a computer. I mean no disrespect to the man, but how pitiful and pathetic he is. Poor man. In his piteous health condition, he's spending much precious time trying to disprove the existence of someone he doesn't believe in in the first place. As intelligent as he is, you'd think he would be spending his time and energy trying to find a cure for his disease and paralysis.

God has said that, "a fool has said in his heart that there is no God". Indeed there are many, many intellectual fools on the planet. Many have long gone to their graves after having failed in their attempts to disprove God. Try as they may, atheists will never disprove the existence of God.

Billions of people all over the world believe in God. Even if some believe in a different one than the God of the Bible, they still believe in a higher being. That’s just the way it is. God does exist and people are always going to believe in Him. Not all people are arrogant enough to think that they’re all that (little gods) and that nothing and no one is a higher being than they are.

In conclusion, God created everything in a perfect and mature state. He created everything bearing seed. He told man and the animals to be fruitful and multiply. So, you never have to wonder again what came first. The chicken came first.

You can always go to the Bible to find answers to fundamental problems and even everyday questions. It is full of knowledge and wisdom. It can be trusted. God knows the answers because He is the creator whether everyone accepts the answers or not.
