How You Can Make Money Online With Zazzle -- No Experience Required
72You really can make money with Zazzle.
You “can” make money online with Zazzle, and yes you read the above title right. No experience is required. I joined Zazzle last month and I’ve already made two sales! It’s been less than 30 days! That's pretty good considering, I’ve only uploaded a few of my designs so far. On top of that, I really haven’t done much marketing for this shop. You’d better believe I’m going to be putting up more designs and doing more marketing now. Check out my store at Zazzle.com. Any tips or feedback on how I can make improvements would be appreciated. Leave a comment. If you’ve read my previous article about online business success, you know I’ve committed to taking my online business endevours more seriously this year. I will succeed. It’s time to get serious. If you’re interested in reading about my online business journey check out the article, Online Business Success -- Will This Be My Year?
What Is Zazzle?
I made money, you can too!
If I can make money on Zazzle, so can you! So, what is Zazzle? It is an online marketplace that offers free website galleries for you to create and sell customized and specially designed products. It is totally free. You don’t have to invest any money at all. Zazzle has a large variety of products you can customize and sell. They have t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, caps, bumper stickers, key chains, magnets, bags, shoes, posters, stationary, stamps, and more. You don’t have to handle any products nor process any transactions. You just upload your customizations and designs and Zazzle takes care of the rest. Zazzle pays you a certain percentage of the sale. They pay after the end of each calendar month. There is a $25 threshold to meet before you receive payment. You can be paid by check or Pay Pal.
You decide how much you'll make.
I guess you’re wondering how much you get paid. Well, it depends on you. You get to control your profit by marking up the price on each product. It’s called “Name Your Royalty". For example if the base price of a shirt is $20 and you choose a markup of 15% then you will make $3 on the sale. Zazzle allows you to markup your price up to 99% but consider whether you can sell your item at such a high price. You can also earn money by referring other shopkeeper’s products. You can also take advantage of Zazzle’s Volume Bonus program. They have many, many tools to help you make sales and succeed. In doing research for this article, I've discovered several that I am anxious to put into action.
Attend Zazzle University
Zazzle has an excellent community of shopkeepers. I’m still a newbie there so I haven’t participated much in the forums, but I have been hanging around, gleaning for tips, examples, etc. Visit Zazzle University located on their website. There you'll find many how-to videos and instruction on how to succeed.
Zazzle also has a ProSellers program which is an invitation only program for the most successful sellers on Zazzle. It is comparable to eBay's Power-seller program. Maybe I’ll reach Zazzle's ProSellers status someday, but one sale at a time, right?
You don't have to be an artist to make money with Zazzle.
If you’re thinking about passing up the opportunity to open a free shop with Zazzle just because you don’t think you have any talent in drawing or design, don’t think that. I’m not that great at drawing either. You don’t have to be an artist. You can use your photographs. Or you can use a program like Photo Shop, or the free image editing software called Gimp. You wouldn’t believe how many tools are included with these programs that can help you create artistic images.
Have a catchy slogan? Sell it!
Frankly, you don’t need to have any artwork on your products at all. If you can just come up with a humorous, cute, or catchy slogan, you can make money. Upload your slogan to put on t-shirts, bumper stickers, whatever. If people see it and like it, they will probably buy it if the price is right. You can’t come up with any catchy slogans either? Well, how about joining the Associate Program. You don’t have to customize any products nor do you have to open a store. Just browse the marketplace, select the items that tickle your fancy and promote them. You will earn a 15% referral fee for each sale you refer to Zazzle from your website, blog, email, or any offline marketing.
You're approved!
You don’t have to worry about being rejected by Zazzle’s Associate Program. They’re not like some of the high-minded, snooty affiliate programs out there who don’t think you’re good enough to sell their products. I’ve been there. You anxiously submit an application, sit on pins and needles waiting for their reply, only to be rejected by them. They're high and mighty. It’s their lost.
Zazzle is a very legitimate way to make money online. If you work hard you will make money. I’ve only done minimal work on my store but made two sales in less than 30 days. There’s no excuse for not trying Zazzle. If you make one sale, keep on doing that which made you that sale, but multiply it and intensify. If I multiply what I’ve done by several times and be consistent about it, I will make a nice income with Zazzle. That’s my goal. I hope this year will be my year for online business success! How about you. Now, go and check out Zazzle already!

I've made US$0.000...! since I've been with Zazzle (a year)
I just looked into this site today as I keep seeing people posting that their picture is on Zazzle for t-shirts or whatever on a photo sharing social type site I am on (Redgage, my user name is Kirstenstar if you want to check it out, I will friend anyone :D) and figured I had to know more. This article has been a great way to find out about others experiences and is very much appreciated. I think I shall be signing up with them soon :D. No reason I cannot write a hub about a range of products I sell there or submit links to other link directory sites to build up a good base of back links. There are so many valid ways to promote our online work it does seem like this could be another great way to create a source of residual income with a little bit of leg work :D
Thanks again!
I just started with Zazzle a couple days ago. It's actually quite fun and simple to do. And as you mention, there are so many tools and possibilities. I didn't realize they had baseball t's until I looked at your store.
Anyway, I've created several projects based on 2 designs that I made with GIMP out of my own photographs. It will be interesting to see where they go, but it's only been 2 days 8=)
I really like some of your designs. Keep up the good work.
First of all: yes, this hub has helped me, and I voted it up. I still want to say thanks :-)
I never took zazzle very serious, but after reading this I registered with them and next I'll be preparing some graphics to upload and see how it'll go. Thanks again
I just made a sale today. I started Zazzle about 9 months ago and put up a lot of designs in a few weeks then stopped. I think I have about 120 give or take (this includes different colors of items, etc.). I don't really have the time with other projects but I can see how some people make some serious money on Zazzle. My total has been around 15 or so bucks earned. I don't feel like it was work on that site; in fact, it was a lot of fun. Maybe someday when I have more time then I will make more. Great hub.
Zazzle sounds like a place to check into. Thanks for sharing.
