Black Republican Women Will Make History If Elected U.S. House Reps. In November 2010
65**** Election Results 11/2/10
Unfortunately neither of the black republican women running for a seat in the United States House of Representatives won. U.S. Representatives are up for re-election every two years. Perhaps, they and others will try again in 2012.
However, two men of the fourteen black republicans running for Congress 2010 did win. Congratulations to Allen West from Florida - District 22 and Tim Scott from South Carolina District 1.
There's never been a black republican woman elected to the U.S. Congress
November 2, 2010 could be historic. Two black Republican women have won their respective primary elections for the United States House of Representatives. They are among 14 black Republicans in the general election running for U.S. Congress in 2010. If one or both of these woment win, they would make U.S. history. It would be the first time ever that a black Republican woman is elected for the United States Congress. These two women are Charlotte Bergmann from Tennessee and Star Parker who is running in California.
Tea Party tidal wave rising
The popularity of Barrack Obama and Democrats are at record lows. However, the tidal wave of the Tea Party and the Republican party is riding high. Most political pundits are predicting that the Republican party will regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives and possibly the U.S. Senate as well. Will the Tea Party tidal wave wipe-out the democrats? This is a perfect opportunity for Charlotte Bergmann and Star Parker to win two of those congressional seats. I would love to see that historic event happen.
