How To Make $1 Per Day Google Adsense Earnings: Set Dollar Amount Goal & Achieve It

I see the question being asked all over HubPages over and over again. The question is, “Can you make money on HubPages?”. My answer is a definite yes! You really can make money on HubPages, specifically with the Google AdSense program. A few weeks ago I set a goal to make at least $1 per day(30/month) with Google AdSense. So far this month, I’ve met and exceeded my goal for my Google AdSense per a day earnings. Google AdSense and HubPages are a great team. The system here actually does work. Some people would disagree that you can make a reasonable amount of money here. They jokingly call AdSense “ad-cents”, implying that you can only make pennies or a few cents. I used to be one of those people only making a few cents with AdSense every now and then. I had a few blogs on Google AdSense before joining Hubpages and “a few cents” is exactly what I earned with them. So, I understand exactly what people mean when they say “ad-cents”.

Now, I realize the reasons why my blogs didn’t make much. I’ve learned a lot about keywords, back linking, etc, here at HubPages. That same good advice for making money on HubPages works with blogs too.
As the old saying goes, "you should not put all your eggs in one basket", but just about everything anyone needs to know about making money online is right here on HubPages. Anyone serious about learning how to make money with HubPages and the Google AdSense program can. There are so many hubbers who share information about how they are succeeding. We just need to take the time required to read and learn. It may take some a little longer than others to get it, but you can make money. I do realize however, a lot of people are not on HubPages to make money, but just to write and express their writing talents. They don’t care about the money. That’s cool, but I’m sure they wouldn't mind if they made some money along the way.
Start small then grow & increase Adsense earnings.
I’m pretty excited about my recent Google AdSense Earnings with HubPages. But others who've been here longer are making even more. Recently a 2 year hubber posted that he recently made $100 in a single day on just one of his hubs. So, I realize that my earnings are not very much in the eyes of some people, but I’m excited about my success just the same. I’m now making more than just a few cents with the AdSense program. You’ve got to start somewhere. So, the plan should be to start small, then increase more and more as you go. If you’re patient and work at it, the AdSense cents will turn into AdSense dollars . I’ve only published 40 hubs so, I’ve got a whole lot more hubbing and growing to do. I’m confident that as I publish more hubs, I’ll make more.
Set A Specific Goal & Achieve It
What was it that finally accelerated things for me? It was as I explained in my last hub. I came across a blogger who was tracking his goal of making $200 per day on his blog. He was half way to accomplishing his goal. Before then, I didn’t have any specific plan or goal. Then I decided to set my own goal. After I did that I began to see my AdSense earnings grow. Praise God! My Advice for any newbie is to set a specific goal and you can make it! Don’t give up. Be encouraged. You CAN make money with the Google AdSense program and HubPages.
What's the next goal?
I set a goal for myself to make at least $1 a day ($30/month).
So, far this month I’ve met and exceeded my goal. In fact, I’ve already passed the $36 mark and I have 2 more weeks remaining in the month.
Here’s a screenshot I took of my June 16th Google Adsense earnings page for the month of June(so far). My next goal? Perhaps $10 a day, $25 a day...? We shall see what the good Lord brings. Set specific goals and go for it!

In the video below Lisa explains basically how AdSense works. She says you need a website, but with HubPages we don't need to build a site to make money. HubPages provides web space for our hubs. We need to write good quality content and provide information that lots of people are searching for.

I've been working with AdSense for over a year on my blogs, and I haven't made much more than pennies on 4 sites -- just can't get the traffic. However, with my hubs, I've found that I have 1 hub that has steadily grown my AdSense to the point where I'm approaching the $1/day mark with just that hub.
Now, if I can get more hubs that have that kind of performance I should be able to see $10/day easily. I just need to remember to focus on evergreen topics since the one that is making money for me now will probably fade (it is tech related and you know how fast that moves 8=).
It will be nice to finally get a cheque from Google.
Hello LoneWolfMuskoka, your experience with your blogs sounds a lot like mine. I'm going to apply some of the things I've learned on HubPages to them (back linking, keywords, etc) to see if I can get some success. Google likes HubPages so what we publish here stands a better chance of getting a good page position.

BTW, the hubber who made $100 on one hub in a single day has a screen capture of his earnings and when he first posted it someone could see thru some of it. Also, if you do a Google search you will see lots of screen captures people have posted, some of them shows EVERYTHING. That should not be done, but I see that they're a pretty big blog and they're still online.

Thank you for your comment. You should do what is best for you. You can have either HubPages, a website or both. It's up to you. There's no particular order to it.
You need to take time to read and research on your own. Look in the top right of your screen. Type in something like, "make money online" or "make money on hubpages" and press the search button. A lot of hubs will come up on your screen.
There's tons of good advice and help if you would take the time to read and learn it.
By the way: The lady in the You Tube video is not me. (LOL! I would love to make what she's making!) Her name is Lisa and she has a very successful online business. Go to You Tube and search for her channel and subscribe. She has lots of good You Tube videos.
Congratulations on meeting your goal. I have mainly seen Hubpages as either a way to write about something I feel like writing about, or to write about a subject to create a backlink to one of my niche websites. I have not seen Hubpages as a revenue source (but I've only been on for a couple of weeks). I know that people are targeting longtail keywords and creating hubs around them, backlinking to their hubs, etc., but I just wonder if the time would not be better spent creating an html website and trying to raise that in rankings. Then you would not need to share the adsense revenue with Hubpages. I guess the answer is that you believe that you have a better chance of ranking on Google with Hubpages? Thanks.
Sylvie, thank you. HubPages is a good place to start. They already have good standing with Google and the other search engines. Of course you can make more with your own website & getting all of the revenue, but if someone is a beginner, just starting out with zero traffic, why not use HubPages?
By no means do I think HubPages is the only way to go. As the old saying goes, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". HubPages is ONE way to get traffic and earn money online. I've learned not to trust any one source online. I also have blogs and websites that I'm keeping. I've just started applying what I've learned about keywords, back links, etc. on them too. Which one to use? HubPages or your own blogs & websites? I say use ALL of them to your own advantage. Thank you for your comments.

As I regularly exceed $100 a month I set another target to earn over $1 for every day of a month. July 2010 was the closest I came - earned at least $1 per day up until 31st July when i only managed $0.97. Hopefully in the future it will pick up though!

I hate it that .03 measly cents prevented you from meeting your daily goal of making at least $1 per day for July. It's ok because today is August 1st, a brand new month for a fresh start. You'll make it this time.
Great advice. I am a newbie to hubpages and to this online money making. Hubs like this makes us feels making money online with hub pages is possible.
Hello IndikaT. Yes, it is indeed possible to make money online. HubPages is a good place to start. It's also a great place to learn. I've started applying what I'm learning to other websites and my own blogs. I've started making money there too (some days, way more than on HubPages). You can do it too. Learn all you can and apply it.

Goals are so important with affiliate marketing, work to one goal and then build on that and keep going.
So the key word here is patience? or good quality contente first.
Getting lucky with the right keywords can also make you earn way more than just 1 dollar a day. I guess that just depends on one's perspective whether you believe in luck or not. Great Hub :)

I earn more than 20 euros every day doing nothing.You just need traffic to your website.So focus on how you get the traffic.

I have to say that I have made more money on Adsense from HubPages then any other site. Not counting the sites that share revenue. I'm still waiting for the huge payout.
